I have been a student at Knippa for five years. I have been involved in basketball, tennis, yearbook, and cross-country.  I earned JV District Champion in cross-country. The thing I liked most about my time at Knippa is meeting new people and making new friendships.  My fondest memories are with my friends; we are more like a family. My time at Knippa has prepared me for college, and now I’m excited to leave with good memories.  When I graduate, I will miss my friends, teachers, and our time together.  I plan on attending college to pursue a degree related to healthcare. My advice for younger students is make as many friends as you can.  Stay humble; don’t slack off on school work.  Get a high G.P.A. by taking your classes seriously.  Most of all, enjoy the time you have with your classmates.

I have been a student at Knippa since fourth grade. I have been involved with cross-country, track, UIL academic events, basketball, and FFA.  I have made it to state competition for cross-country, Number Sense, Mathematics, and Calculator Applications.  I will also graduate high school with both a diploma and an Associate of Arts degree from SWTJC. I liked participating in sports at Knippa.  It gave me the opportunity to become close with all of my peers.  My fondest memories are the bus rides with the cross-country team. When I graduate, I will miss being close to home.  I plan to attend Hardin-Simmons University in Abilene and major in music theory. My advice for younger students is to focus on your grades, and enjoy the time you have.  Time will go by faster than you think, and soon, you’ll be wishing you could start all over again.
